My Testimony Spot!
I will be adding testimonies monthly!! If not more.
I want to share with you how the word of God has worked in my life. I hope that it will help you in your walk with Him!!
Then I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens, "It has come at
last--salvation and power and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his
Christ. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down to
earth--the one who accuses them before our God day and night. And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And
they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die. Therefore, rejoice, O heavens! And you who live in the heavens, rejoice! But
terror will come on the earth and the sea, for the devil has come down to you in
great anger, knowing that he has little time."
Revelation 12:10-11
Change for Change !
March 2013
WOW, God is so GOOD!! For the month of March we are raising money for the upcoming mission trip. The fund raiser is called Change for Change. We are bringing in all our change we have saved up and planting it as seed for change in our life’s. When I had told the church what we would be doing, I also told them what I was planting my seed for. But so you understand here is a little bit of history! ;...)
In the winter of 2012 my 9 year old son was diagnosed with Vision Conversion Insufficiency, meaning that the muscles around his eyes are not strong enough to do their job. Making it very hard for him to read, write, and even walk by things without knocking things down. He began vision therapy, and threw therapy he also was diagnosed with dyslexia. There are three types of dyslexia.
Perceptual or P-type: These dyslexic people read quite slowly, sound by sound. This group seems to be stuck in the early stages of reading, unable to develop speed and fluency.
Linguistic or L-type: These dyslexic people try to read quickly but make many mistakes. They attempt to use linguistic strategies they are not ready for to help them read faster.
Mixed or M-type: Dyslexic people who read slowly while making lots of mistakes.
My son was diagnosed having P-type and M-type. Do to the Dyslexia he has no reading comprehension level. His teach is wanting me to hold him back, not letting him go to the 4th grade next year. My son was very worried about this. My family and I have been praying for a full healing for him. In January he graduated from vision therapy with VERY high scores. Praise Be to God! March 1st I put in my CHANGE FOR CHANGE, I shared with the church my seed was for my son to be healed of dyslexia. March 8th he took the Kansas State READING Assessment, his teach said he need at least a 60% but anticipated he would get lower....... March 8th he found out his score….. 84% EXCEEDING STANDARDS !! Nothing is too big for MY GOD!
